OSNews has published a fairly extensive review of
the Pegasos platform. Eugenia tests both the
Amiga-like MorphOS and Debian GNU/Linux running
on the Pegasos hardware. There is also mention of

OpenBeOS for the BeBox?

According to a story at LeBuzz (which surfaced
from the recent begeistert 10) work is underway to
port the NewOS, one of the many BeOS derivative
operating systems, to the new Pegasos PowerPC
machines. Further rumour and innuendo then
suggests that a port of OpenBeOS to the PowerPC
platform could follow. So could this mean OpenBeOS
for the BeBox? |
