NetBSD for the BeBox
NetBSD is a UNIX-like operating system,
derived from 4.4BSD and 386BSD. It is a collaborative effort of a large group
of people to produce a free, open-source and highly-portable operating system.
The original NetBSD project was begun in 1993. The NetBSD/bebox port began
(approximately) with NetBSD/powerpc(ofppc) 1.2D source code. It was merged
with NetBSD-current on October 14, 1997.
